It’s not often that you’re the first photographer, ever, to shoot in a new location house. Let alone with total free reign, and an incredible team behind you. Well, that’s what happened on this shoot. I was asked by my friend Zeb (who was the hair stylist on this shoot) if I was interested in producing a shoot in what was going to be a new location house in Cornwall. Of course, any chance I get to shoot somewhere new, I’ll take it.

We went for a scout of the house, and it was as beautiful as Zeb had described. An old house on the Lizard Peninsula, (my favourite part of the county) with tall ceilings and massive windows in every room, this house truly feels like it holds a lot of stories.

We came up with a story, of a young woman, who had escaped the big city, and was spending a weekend away from it all. I wanted to tell the story of her day, from the start to the end - day to night. And that’s what we did.

I’m absolutely thrilled that I can finally share these images, because so much love and effort was put into them, and I truly adore the outcome.

As the years go by, its always the projects like these which bring me the most joy.
