Elinor and Honey

I had a free afternoon a couple of weeks ago, so my two friends Elinor and Honey came over for an afternoon of testing! The lovely Emily Wouters joined us for make up, and Luke Christou did the girls’ hair. I don’t do many shoots at home anymore, but once in a while it feels really fun to go back to my roots!

When I first started out in Cornwall, I couldn’t afford to hire studios, so I would create studio set ups at home (often just using window light) and shot a lot of my early work in that set up. It was fun, a great way to practice and learn, and affordable!

These days, I like to mix a little bit of flash with daylight to make the images pop, and that’s exactly what I did here.
